ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. will soon introduce two new tractor models, the UTILIX and HORTUS, in the 40 to 70 hp segment. These extend the range of universal tractors which can be widely used in gardening, light landscaping and municipal work, or work with loaders. These tractors will also be popular with hobby farmers.
The new UTILIX range is made up of the UTILIX HT 45 and UTILIX HT 55 models; the HORTUS range includes the HORTUS CL 65 and HORTUS HS 65. These tractors are reliable, powerful and easy to maintain. They are to be launched in the first quarter of 2018.
“In recent times we have been observing development in the segment of tractors with power below 80 hp. The market share of this segment varies between 10-30% of total sales, depending on the market. We have therefore reacted to the situation by launching two new models in four equipment specifications,” says Robert Todt, Sales and Marketing Director, ZETOR TRACTORS a.s.
The new tractors are equipped with four-cylinder engines with a power of 43, 49 and 67 hp.
UTILIX
The heart of the new UTILIX tractors is the four-cylinder engine. The UTILIX HT 45 has a power of 43 hp, while the more powerful UTILIX HT 55 has 49 hp. The engines meet the STAGE IIIA emission standard. The tractors are equipped with a three-speed hydrostatic transmission which enables the operator to control the speed of the tractor with two accelerator pedals and one brake pedal. The maximum speed of the tractor is 30 kph. The system of wet brakes makes the new tractor a safe working tool which meets the latest strictest safety standards. The hydraulics system of the tractor is equipped with two oil pumps with a total flow rate of 52 or 56 l/min respectively. Such rate is sufficient for work with front loaders and other accessories. Air-conditioning to increase the comfort of the operator is standard equipment.
HORTUS
The HORTUS tractor is equipped with a four-cylinder engine with a power of 67 hp that meets the STAGE IIIB emission standard. The tractor is fitted with a mechanical transmission with 24 forward and 24 reverse gears. The HORTUS HS model is further equipped with the PowerShuttle, i.e., a reverser which can change direction even under load. The maximum speed of the tractor is 40 kph and just like the UTILIX is also equipped with the system of wet brakes. Two oil pumps provide the hydraulic system with a flow rate of 60 l/min. This tractor is also equipped with air-conditioning, which makes the work of the operator easier, especially during long and hard work.
“These new tractors are small and light; therefore, they are easier to control than bigger machines. They can be used not only in cultivation and gardening, but also in stables and other areas where there is limited space. Due to their manoeuvrability, they are also ideal for municipal services,” adds Robert Todt.
Those interested will be able to order the new tractors from the start of 2018 and the first tractors shall be delivered to customers in March 2018. By introducing the UTILIX and HORTUS, we will expand our product portfolio (6 models and 13 tractors in 2018) and will cover segments from 40 to 160 hp.
Both professionals and the general public will be able to see the new ZETOR product range at the Agritechnica 2017 trade fair, which will take place on 12-18 November 2017. Together with the new tractors, the ZETOR company shall also present its first tractor in the new series production design in Hall 7, stand D38. At stand E10, Hall 16, ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. is to present the development and production of components. Everyone is cordially invited to come and see how ZETOR is ready for the year 2018; just like our motto states: ZETOR. IN NEW SHAPE – FASTER AHEAD. We look forward to meeting you!
